Reigning in the top of the list of the best sports car ever produced is the Ferrari 250 GTO. And the Cobra 427 and Porsche Carrera GT are its successors, respectively.

The topnotch holder, the Ferrari, was released in 1962. There were only 36 units that were manufactured in the span of two years. The BEST SPORTS CAR EVER PRODUCED TITLE is an addition to its accolade as the best Ferrari ever made. Giotto Bizzarrini and his team were the geniuses behind this priced possession. It has a v12 engine whose cylinders have a displacement of 250 cubic centimeters for each, displacing a total of 3 liters. It accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.1 seconds with 302 horsepower. GTO stands for "Gran Turismo Omologata."
The 2nd placer on the list of the best sports car ever produced is the Ferrari 250 GTO, which is released in the 1960s. It is known as the most famous sport car with a combined lightweight European chassis and aluminum body with a big American V8 engine. This is a product of the desire of Carroll Shelby, an American ex-racing driver, to have a V8 engine with a light chassis. A British specialist manufacturer, AC Cars, granted this after Chevrolet dismissed Shelby's idea. Chevrolet foresaw that it will be a competition with Corvette. This invention accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds with 425 horse power. This made UK to implement road speed limit. Shelby claimed that the name "cobra" came to him from a dream.
The third runner up in the list of the best sports car ever produced was conceptualized in the late 1990's, but it was only in 2004 that it was released in the market with a price of $440,000 for each unit. There were 1270 units sold all over the world. This luxurious engine is labeled as the most aggressive Porsches ever produced. From its initial plan of using a undercharged flat-6, it was then redesigned to use a new V10 engine. This powerful engine was built by Porsche in secret for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992 but didn't materialize. Its road-legal version was revived in 2000 which has 10 cylinders in a V formation with a total displacement of 5.7 liters. It accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds with 600 horsepower.
