Performance Toyota sports cars are making a mark in the sports car industry since its first model, the Sports 800, rolled out from their assembly in the early 1960s. Today, the Twin-Turbo Toyota Supra, the Celica, and the MR2s are among the top sellers from the Toyota sports car editions.

Sports car lovers around the world are delighted when the Twin-Turbo Toyota Supra V12 reached 222 miles per hour in the tracks in Nardo, Italy. This baby can deliver 1000bhp on demand from a twin-turbo V12 high-torque engine. Breaking the 222mph mark is not an easy feat when you talk about sports cars, considering that other top of the line sports cars only reached 200mph at maximum.
But the all time favorite, classical Toyota sports car edition, the MR2s, has been wowing sports car lovers since its first model rolled out from Toyota's assembly in 1985, the Mark I. The all familiar features of the latest editions of this mid-engine Toyota sports car, the MR2 Spyder, are its short hood, light weight, and a roomy interior with leather wrapped seats. It also helps that the retractable top folds and unfolds quickly on demand - probably the quickest among the convertible cars in circulation. There's more to this sports car than just powerful turbo engine so that people love each edition when they are ready.
And of course, let's not forget the Toyota Celica. Who says that you have to give up space for design when it comes to sports car? Another Toyota sports car creation, the Celica, didn't trade space and comfort for design. The sports car is comfortable enough for daily use while retaining all the fun and abilities that only a sports car can deliver, speed and agility no problem.
To top it all, Subaru and Toyota are teaming up to deliver a sports car to behold comes 2011. Toyota and Subaru are skimpy about the details but Toyota's top executives are kind enough to confirm the team up. With the success of Subaru in their four-cylinder engine design and the experience of Toyota in the sports car game, sports car lovers know that the marriage is sure to produce something to die for.
